But that often leaves a slew of movies that are just as interesting that we think deserve some attention as well. Chasing The Muse from Artsploitation Films
This is a documentary from Independent filmmmaker Jean-François Davy, who has been making movies for more than 40 years. In Chasing the Muse, Davy and his cameraman go on a tour of Eastern Europe in a quest for a “beautiful muse” to be in his next film. We get to see the process and auditions – including the sex – that he goes through to find the star of his next movie. It is a candid movie with real people and real sex.
