HotMovies has announced the launch of a 12-month program of charitable donations which we’re calling “12 Months of Giving.” Each month in 2018, we will select a different charity to receive a donation, the amount of which will be based on a percentage of gross sales for that month.
We will continue our 12 Months of Giving by donating a percentage of October’s sales to RAINN, the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network. RAINN partners with over 1,000 sexual assault service providers across the country to operate the National Sexual Assault Hotline in addition to offering programs helping victims and survivors. They also educate the public on sexual abuse and assault by organizing with universities and local organizations in an effort to inform people that abuse doesn’t have just one face. There is also a public policy team that works with federal and state law makers ensuring the rights of victims are met and their attackers are prosecuted. RAINN looks out for the hundreds of people effected by sexual violence daily, and we at HotMovies are proud to show our support and encourage you to do the same.
The remainder of the charity selections have not been finalized, and we want to remain open to suggestions from subscribers and the public. Those with suggestions for a charity we should consider may send an email to suggestions@hotmovies.com.
