Gone are the days when tattooed porn stars were restricted to only working in “alt” productions; in fact, nowadays, most stars seem to have at least one or two somewhere on their bodies. Because we see every inch of their skin, some porn tattoos become iconic over time (Bonnie Rotten‘s signature tit-spiderwebs are undeniably unforgettable). Then, there’s also the unique cases in which some stars’ ink is so curious that you really wonder what the story behind their artwork is. Once while editing an amateur movie from somewhere in Eastern Europe, I remember seeing a girl with the word “TATTOO” inked on her calf in bold, graffiti-style script. That was one to remember. Anyway, the HotMovies staff have collectively watched a nauseating amount of porn, so naturally we each had picks for our favorite tattoos we’ve seen over time.

Katrina Jade‘s Slut Tattoo
It’s probably not news to anyone that I’m a huge Katrina Jade fan, and I don’t think I have to justify that very much if you’ve watched any of her scenes (don’t deprive yourself of this joy). It goes without saying that she’s insanely beautiful. Katrina’s so hot she could easily rest on her laurels and have expressionless sex in her scenes… and everyone would still watch. Luckily for us fans, that’s the exact opposite of what she does onscreen. Katrina Jade’s sexual appetites are limitless; her voracity for hedonistic, no-holds-barred sex is probably what contributed to her getting her distinguished ‘Slut’ tattoo. It’s a word that’s been reclaimed by sex-positive people to signify those who unabashedly recognize themselves as naturally sexual beings. There’s no shame in being a slut (if you are one, might as well be a good one!), so I love that Katrina Jade wears her true calling’s sigil with pride.

Tattoos on porn stars are as ubiquitous as dirty, filthy lies on your momma‘s pretty lips. Picking the best tattoo on a porn star is not my expertise due to my sensitive skin and paralyzing fear of a black latex-gloved hand holding a hot needle. For my pick for favorite porn star tattoo, I’d need to find something special with a story behind it. I pick Joanna Angel’s Statue of Liberty tattoo. Mason Moore‘s Hit It Like A Champ tattoo
Mason Moore is always the first porn star I think of when tattoos are mentioned. I first saw her in Zero Tolerance‘s A Girl A Boy And A Toy paired up with Manuel Ferrara and instantly my eyes were drawn to her pussy, because that’s where my eyes usually go when a naked woman is on screen. While down there, I saw something spectacular that made me never want to look away: her “Hit It Like A Champ” tattoo around two boxing gloves with “TKO” on them. I never saw a pussy tat before then and it remains my favorite! That tattoo took me on a wild Mason Moore ride and gave her a permanent spot on my favorite porn star list. Her “WHO’S NEXT” tattoos across her knuckles are also cool as fuck and pretty much sum up the energy and vibe she brings to a scene. I don’t think that woman ever gets tired, and god bless her for it!

This one takes me back to my old punk and Oi! roots. I’ve always loved Cadence St. John’s crucified skinhead on an American flag tattoo. It’s always been a lament of mine that more skinhead birds haven’t been in porn… and so Cadence was always a favorite of mine. I loved her in film so much that I might even become a sub just for her now that she’s a professional dominatrix, even though that’s not my bag. Honorable mention to her Trojan Records tattoo on her other shoulder.
Charlotte’s “NAUSEA” tattoo would be good just because it’s a bad-ass tattoo on one of the most beautiful chests of one of the most beautiful and sweet (and filthy) women in all of adult. Add to that the fact that it can hold a double-meaning as either philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre’s novel OR the crustcore band, and you have a winner! Her other ink is also worth checking out.
Let’s do our best to ignore the fact that Asphyxia is a drop-dead gorgeous vamp of a human being. Let’s also ignore the sexy little star tattoos on her face. Let’s just focus on her matching atom tattoos. Expertly placed, subtle, and highly complimentary to her skin tone and body shape… the kitschy 1950s space-age diner renditions of atoms on her chest near her shoulders just beg to be seen and lusted after. Stylish AND sexy!
