Can you believe that Marc Dorcel has been around for 40 years?! That’s insane. The venerable production company has been parading gorgeous European bodies in front of us for decades, and I had the enviable task of trying to capture some of the greatest output from the studio. It would take an actual full-time job in and of itself to craft a true Best Of from Dorcel, so I went ahead and rounded up some of the real highlights of the studio. There are tons of great movies from the company. I chose to focus on some of the more modern titles and a couple carefully curated classics from the studio’s expansive catalog. Where possible, I selected the English version (we typically have a separate French-language version if you prefer the authenticity).
Russian Institute – The Hussy
Schoolgirl uniforms happen to be a weakness of mine, and for about a decade and a half the Russian Institute series has been there to help me get my jollies out. But The Hussy really and truly stands out from the rest of the pack for me.
No fooling: the first scene, a threesome between Darcia Lee, Lexi Layo, and Renato is an all-time scene for me. It is shot beautifully, and acted perfectly. It looks like everyone is having a great time, and Darcia and Lexi perform one of the most photogenic sex scenes I’ve ever seen. I don’t think there’s such a thing as hyping that one up too much. But if that weren’t enough, the film follows it right up with a scorcher starring Luna Rival who, mark my words, will be a legend in the industry before she’s through. Luna luckily makes a second appearance, this time in a lesbian threesome with the headmistress of the school and a classmate. The other scenes are great, too.
Les Culottes De Charlotte (House Of The Rising Son)
Marc Dorcel has been putting out classics forever. Case in point is Les Culottes De Charlotte: an exciting film of political intrigue, blackmail, and hypocrisy. Claire Lenoir plays the titular Charlotte, the daughter of a prominent French political powerbroker who is just coming into her own as an adult, but is forced to lead a sheltered (especially from men) life. Charlotte’s father is a pervert who uses his influence and a one-way mirror to blackmail a protege’s wife into sexual acts for his panty-sniffing benefit. Like many movies of its era, it does not shy away from the depiction of non-consensual sex (although dramatized), so consider this a warning to anyone who might be triggered by it. But the movie is captivating and hot in turns, and well worth checking out.
Ines – Escort Deluxe
This movie gets put on the list first and foremost because Ines Lenvin is probably in the top ten hottest women to have ever walked the planet, so featuring her in two scenes in the same movie is a guaranteed win. We also have one of Luna Rival’s first scenes, featuring her getting fucked in front of an audience of older men in a sauna. It’s both super sexy and disturbing – and will leave most people with confused boners (or lady boners) in the process. The film, overall, is another Herve Bodilis gem and does not disappoint.
Sex Games
When Mia Malkova starts to explore her sexuality and the limits of her relationship, we’re all winners. The film is reminiscent of Eyes Wide Shut as Mia’s explorations take her into the world of a secret sex society that also engage in masked fuckery. There’s no weak scene in the bunch here, but if I had to pick one, it’d be the awakening scene between Mia and Alberto Blanco.
Amour, Fantasmes & Fantasie (Love Fantasies)
1985 might have been a little too late to feature it, but this movie kicks off with a funk-dripping disco tune that is a secret banger. The movie’s all in French with no subtitles, so near as I could tell it, the film is about one dude fucking his way through his fantasies. These include a coquettish milkmaid in pigtails, a geisha giving him a blowjob, and him changing the mind of a policewoman with his penis. There are a couple threesomes and a couple other scenes crammed into here. There’s just something about how it all comes together that I found really appealing… especially with that milkmaid. But I also might have been swayed a little by the disco song.
31 Years, At Your Service
I spent so much time with the Dorcel catalog that I must have subconsciously started picking titles that were atypical for the studio. Not that that’s a bad thing, but it is worth mentioning that 31 Years, At Your Service is not what you would normally expect from a Marc Dorcel title. There is a distinctly amateurish slant to this movie that works in its favor. The cameraman is the main character, and the film opens up with one of the dirtier scenes I’ve seen in a Dorcel title. There’s a good deal of ass play and stretching and spreading with a Belgian girl I’ve never seen before. The movie then moves on to the deliciously curvy Alexis Fox for an MMF and a FFM scene back-to-back.
My Real Swinger’s Orgy
As with the movie listed before it, this doesn’t exactly fit the Marc Dorcel mold; proving that the studio is more than just high-gloss features (even if the high-gloss features are fucking fantastic). My Real Swinger’s Orgy is exactly that: it plops some big French and Euro performers into a full-on orgy party. The film feels more documentary-style than feature, for the most part. I say for the most part because there is a plot that weaves its way through the movie. A shy newbie to the orgy/swinging scene is reluctant to get naked and get down. She is baby-stepped through the process, and the film closes with a regular BG sex scene outside the orgy. The magic of the movie, though, is how authentic the party itself feels. I’d say it makes me want to attend a real swinger orgy, but I’m pretty sure the people involved would be about 3% as attractive as the ones in the movie.
Claire The Sexologist
Claire Castel plays an uptight and seemingly frigid sexologist who in truth engages in clandestine and sometimes risky sexual behavior incognito. The movie features an awful lot of Claire Castel (a good thing), and some dingy and interestingly lit locations (also a good thing). There is a scene (SPOILER ALERT) in which Claire follows a sex worker client of hers into a BDSM dungeon. The scene begins with sex between a dominant Valentina Nappi and her latex puppy. I didn’t think that I could get around the fact that a guy was wearing a full-faced dog mask during sex, but I was wrong. Love (like my love for Valentina) conquers all!
41 Years Old – The Cheating Spouse
This movie feels like it’s been ripped straight out of the sexiest and most scandalous soap opera imaginable. It opens with Zara Durose and her sultry British accent, cheating on her husband with her kid’s teacher. What transpires is a game of cheating musical chairs – where hearts are broken and pussies are pounded. The film has a happy ending, but not before we are treated to several sexy scenes. For my money, the standout is a threesome between Zara’s friend played by Ania Kinski, her husband Rico Simmons, and the otherworldly beauty of Misha Cross.
Lucy – The New Secretary
Lucy Heart plays the new secretary at an office where they seem to do little work outside their carnal forays. The movie is light on plot, even by porn standards. Not that I mind, mind you… just pointing it out. Lucy Heart is the main attraction (rightly) in three of the five scenes. That’s more or less all you need to know. And there’s also something very sexy about office attire and naughty work escapades, isn’t there? The standout scene is probably the final one, in which Lucy gets banged out on a desk by Kristof Cale.
