Who else feels like William Wallace in Braveheart ready to paint their faces and yell FREEDOM while running through the streets, parks, or even grocery stores? Or does your version look more like the streaking scene from Old School? No matter what liberating scene may be playing in your mind, I think we are all beyond the point of stir crazy and missing things we once thought as guarantees in our daily routines and lives. What things have you been missing most during these “lockdowns” and “quarantines?” Is it something that you see as a guilty pleasure, or something almost necessary that you took for granted? With different states taking different stances on what is deemed essential and non-essential, one person may still be easily able to get their nails done while another can’t even drive across town to see their parents. I’ve asked some of your favorite porn stars—Adira Allure, Lexi Luna, Linzee Ryder, and Johnny Sins—what three things they are going to do as soon as everything is officially reopened and “normal life” is safe to resume everywhere. Can you guess what they all picked?
Resuming Performing
Let’s start with a more obvious one for porn stars: getting back to work and being able to shoot scenes and have relations with people who aren’t living with them. I agree with Linzee Ryder and Johnny Sins that I CANNOT WAIT to be able to shoot and travel to shoot again. This lockdown has been a killer not only for finances and brand, but for sexual desires too! Adira Allure said that she’s craving an off-camera DP to try to satisfy her “long overdue sexual cravings.” Think of how many of your favorite stars are living at home alone and dying to break out and hop on!
Resuming ‘Normal’ Everyday Tasks
Getting out of the house and doing things that may not be seen as essential or safe right now was ranked very highly for all the stars that I talked to. Lexi Luna’s three things pretty much all fell into this category: she wants to take up bike riding and go out to appreciate nature more every day. She also added that she will try to find pleasure in running errands after this, because it was once seen as a burden and now something that many cannot do. Johnny Sins also echoed this same sentiment,
“I want to be able to go to the grocery store, and not in fear.”
How many of you have gone grocery shopping, or are you using a delivery app? Getting groceries used to be something that I dragged my feet doing, now I’ll be skipping through the aisles with a smile on my face as if in a fairytale movie with the forest creatures helping me pick out toothpaste and veggies! Now as we come in contact with others, many are even afraid to look in your direction or smile! Linzee Ryder said that she can’t wait for when she is ‘allowed’ to to see her family and give them the biggest, six-foot distancing, protocol-breaking bear hugs! How many of us have family and friends on their lists? I know I do!
Resuming Guilty Pleasures
As you scroll through your list of things you want to do, once the chains of the quarantine have been broken, whether in your mind or on physically written out sheet of paper. How many of the things seem to be guilty pleasures? Having my birthday (April 20th) fall within the dates of this lockdown is one of the hardest things for me—unable to spoil myself or have a party with friends. I know one of the first things I want to do after the lockdown is lifted is throw elbows to get in the door of my nail salon for a mani/pedi! Linzee Ryder agreed with me, in that she wants to treat herself to a relaxing and indulging “spa day.” Adira Allure can’t wait to take herself on a sushi date and plan a trip to Europe—how fun would that be right now?! Johnny Sins says he will be sprinting to the gym as soon as they announce that the doors are opened again. How many of these things are on your list, or have you now added them?
I know as I scroll through these lists from these amazing stars I can’t help but picture the stunning Adira Allure on a European vacation, Linzee Ryder with just a towel covering her delicious body in the spa, Lexi Luna in a skimpy cycling outfit, and Johnny Sins shirtless and pumping iron. I’m sure it’s not just me, right? One thing is for sure—once this lockdown is lifted, I think we are all going to be very busy people!
