So, did Utah really just ban porn on smartphones? Well, not really… but many state lawmakers across the country clearly have no room for adult entertainment in their vision of a perfect, God-fearing utopia. Goody Cox did recently sign into law a bill, H.B. 72, that would require mobile device manufacturers to install adult content filters that would be switched on by default when the mobile device was activated. The law has no known implementation date, and under its own provisions will probably never take effect, thank goodness.
