At this point I think it’s pretty safe to discuss director Jacky St. James in tall-tale vernacular. Her Herculean output is fascinating for one really big reason: she still seems to care about each movie that comes out. Plenty of directors churn out insane numbers of movies like Jacky, but many seem as though the director is—I wouldn’t say asleep—but maybe not the most invested. Jacky’s films still have a vibrancy to them that make it seem as though she’s just as passionate about a movie coming out in the middle of summer as she was about her first project. That sort of enthusiasm and passion for what you do is noticeable, and it’s appreciated. And that’s why Toxic, our latest exclusive from Sweet Sinner, is such a delight to see. What is this? Her 250th movie? Something like that? Whatever number it is, it is a winner that is guaranteed to make your pants twitch and your legs shaky.
Clip One
The film starts with main character Hope (Aila Donovan) in a violent confrontation with her boyfriend, Alec (Quinton James). Aila has just accused Quinton of cheating, again. Quinton has Aila by the throat and pins her to a wall. The quarrel, which has turned ugly, transforms from hateful to hate-sex as their passions boil over from bilious to frenzied. Then we cut to the title, and Aila showing up at her friends’ place.
Her girlfriend, played by Victoria Voxxx (who I haven’t seen in a movie in a hot minute and I sorely, sorely missed), is consoling/lecturing Aila about her toxic (titular phrase) pattern. Victoria’s dude, Ryan McLane, recommends Aila stay with them for a while. Victoria agrees, and Aila relents… and then we get to some sexy times.
Victoria is massaging Ryan in private while Aila settles in. They’re talking about Aila, but also the success of their own relationship. It’s not long before Victoria is on the massage table locking tongues with her fella. This leads to some incredibly hot dry-humping. It’s my opinion that dry-humping is severely underrated—both in porn and just in everyday foreplay. We did it as teens and what-have-you… but that doesn’t mean it has to stop! Alright, I’m off my soapbox and back to reviewing.
Ryan’s down on the ground eating Victoria when she starts cooing, “Look at me, I want to see you.” That’s how you know this scene is going to be good. Aila pops by and catches the two of them in the act and watches them silently, but unlike most porn, she doesn’t start touching herself or join in; she just watches with a bittersweet smile on her face, and somehow that just feels more realistic. So Ryan manages to smack Victoria’s ass while he’s eating her out (which seems hard to do) and she asks for it again. They are really feeling each other.
They wind up in a standing doggie and Ryan gets her all the way down on the bench and he’s hitting her deep. It’s clear that she’s lost entirely to passion and she cums hard. He’s lost, too, and it takes him a while to regain his composure… and when he does, he remembers that Victoria appears to like it a little rough. He slaps her ass and pulls her hair back, and she responds instantly. It’s not long before she has another killer orgasm all over his cock.
Watching their mind-melting sex, Aila just ups and leaves to go back for Quinton. She asks, “How do we fix this?” And he tells her to stop talking and they make their way passionately to the bed. End scene.
Clip Two
Post-coitus, Aila takes the advice of Victoria and suggests to Quinton that they open up their relationship so, at the very least, what he’s doing isn’t considered cheating anymore. After some passage of time, Aila walks into their place and Quinton has a stripper pole set up in the living room and is enjoying a private show from Crystal Taylor. He divulges that he’s been going to a strip club and has had lap dances from Crystal while the two of them were together. He has Aila grind on his lap while he watches Crystal. He beckons Crystal over, but Aila seems unnerved. He tells Crystal to kiss Aila, and they do. Then he has Aila move aside as he makes out with Crystal. Aila looks put-off by being made to watch, and she moves his hand from her lap as they kiss. Aila’s body language changes and he doesn’t seem to notice nor care. Aila makes to leave and he shoots an arm up to grab her. She says it’s all too new for her and tells them to have fun, and Quinton just says, “Okay.” Aila looks back and pauses not once, but twice, to let her boyfriend come and prove that he cares about her feelings. Both times it does not happen. Instead we get a sex scene from Quinton and Crystal.
Crystal’s character is hot in a “I’m dressed garish on purpose because I’m a stripper” kind of way, with her red bikini and harness ensemble, red platform heels, and high-set ponytail. She jerks him off inside his jeans as they make out. The sex itself is limber and acrobatic and impressive. She does the splits, resting her legs on either end of a sofa while he does her from underneath. But it’s impossible to divorce yourself from the plot of the scene and the context. If you just wanted an acrobatic sex scene from two talented performers, you’re best off watching it in a vacuum so your feelings don’t complicate your nethers. It feels, by its nature, more transactional than loving, and that’s a testament to Quinton’s skills as an actor even during performance. Crystal gets her ass cummed on and she tells him to feed it to her. He dips a finger in, and gives her a taste of his frosting.
Clip Three
Unsure of what to do and where to go, Aila again finds herself on Victoria and Ryan’s doorstep. But this time, Victoria isn’t home. Aila readies herself to leave, but Ryan insists that she stick around anyhow. He plays the consoling friend. He shares his thoughts on why he has a successful open relationship, and it’s enough to get Aila onboard, if only to take away her anger and frustration and pain at the thought of Quinton being with another woman.
It feels like there is a lot of oral in this scene. Ryan really goes to town on a gracious Aila before they begin penetration. At one point he has her legs up on a couch and she’s barely gasping out, “Oh, it feels so good.” Then her body shudders and her eyes roll back in her head and she leaves her body for a moment. She gets off one more time before he pulls out and busts all over her stomach. She picks some up and tastes it and smiles. She says, “Thank you. I needed that.”
A little while later after Aila’s cleaned herself up, Victoria, bubbly as all get-out, asks Aila how it was and it throws Aila off-guard. “Did you think he wasn’t going to tell me?” she asks, and Aila says she wanted to be the first one. Aila then asks if Victoria’s mad, and it turns out that that couldn’t be further from the truth. Victoria says, “I’m actually surprised it didn’t happen sooner.”
The two of them find themselves talking again about Aila’s toxic situation. Victoria, the sage friend, says, “Relationships are supposed to bring you happiness. Not pain.” She also says, “Don’t feel trapped because you live together. You’ve been so unhappy. For so long.” Aila feels the need to defend her choices, but has a hard time stammering out that she’s happy… sounding unconvinced even to herself.
Clip Four
We are back with Aila and Quinton. There is the start of a big fight when Aila confesses to having been with another man while Quinton was with Crystal. This enrages Quinton. It appears that his idea of an open relationship is that only he can do what he wants, and that Aila is not free to do her own thing. Quinton has his hands around her throat quite a bit in anger at this point. He’s constantly referring to her as a dirty slut… and then there comes that toxic shift from hatred to hate-fuckery, with him asking how many times she was made to cum. He’s got his hands down her panties at this point, and things begin to heat up.
The sex in this scene is phenomenal. It is angry and red and sweaty and grunty sex. There’s a lot of tense energy. The hottest part to watch was Aila grinding on Quinton’s cock in cowgirl before needing a few minutes to catch her breath. When Quinton cums, Aila is made to taste it. And the two have a little exchange about the taste of their extra-curricular partners.
Jacky St. James finishes the movie off with exposition. I don’t want to spoil any endings here, except to say that it is a satisfying and well-crafted close to an all-around solid film.
