OK, so, time to tell the story of Eliza Eves. Did I get the beginning part of my research right? You were born in Pennsylvania and raised Catholic?
So, I grew up in Pennsylvania, technically I was not born there, but I did spend many years of my life there. Yes, I did spend a lot of those years growing up Catholic. I went to Catholic school for most of my life.
You’re talking to someone that went to catechism class and got his first holy communion, the whole nine yards.

I really appreciate you saying that. The wonder lies within the fact that you find the most beautiful souls in sex work, and you also find the nastiest souls. It’s really very interesting. Yes! I have always been an independent person, even before porn. You do have to be very independent and have the ability to stand on your own in order to succeed in this industry. That is because you are going to run into a lot of people who are going to talk down to you. There will be many voices that will be telling you, “This is wrong!” You have to be able to stand up for yourself. You have to be able to have a commanding voice that says, “No, I am good! I know my worth! I will find another agent.” You have to be able to push yourself to these companies and tell someone that you will make your own content. Whatever the case is, you must have that within you.

Well, I started out as a cam girl. Now, the way that I got into that side of the industry is an even longer story, and I can tell that one as well if you like?

Okay, so I will tell you the entire story! I was only camming occasionally when I compared myself to what I see cam models doing right now. When I began on cam, I was making money—not a lot of money. I was camming on occasion with my girlfriend and we would have a show maybe a couple of times a month. She had a free house for us to shoot in. I’d been back living with my parents at the time, and we just found so many ways to get on cam. We would cam at her house, if she had it free for the weekend. We would cam at another friend’s house if everything lined up there. I would even cam in my room, on my phone. I really enjoyed what I was doing to make some extra money. I had also been working as a waitress at the time, and then my parents found out about me camming and they kicked me out.
I already had a trip booked to backpack through Europe, so I moved into an apartment. I quit my waitressing job, and I went to backpack through Europe as planned. It was then that I began to run out of money. I decided that I should make a Twitter account, and I began selling nudes so that I could make enough money to make it through the rest of my trip.
It was when I got home, I saw that I did not really have a regular job or a regular source of income. So, I started camming every single day. Then, I started inviting some of my friends, and I was noticing that I was getting almost 10,000 viewers everytime that I would go onto Chaturbate. Things were starting to work well, and well enough that I was able to move back to New York. They say that it’s “the city that never sleeps,” and they’re right. Being that everything was always open, I was able to cam around the schedule that I wanted to keep. I could get into cam anytime of the day and still be able to go out with friends, get something to eat. Even when it was three in the morning in New York, there were still clubs open, parties happening. It was a really fun time in my life.
Then, fast forward to July 2019. I’d gotten some messages about joining a few agencies and there were a few that were persistent. I think it was here that I realized what the potential was in this business, and not just with camming. It was around November of the same year that I began to look into things seriously with an agency, and I decided that I would fly to Miami and work for the company that was pursuing me the hardest. That’s the story of how I got started. It was all something that began through camming.

Why thank you. I think that there are a lot of girls who never make it out of that early stage of their careers. There’s so much that I cannot say on the record. What I will say is that there are many things that I would love to do later down the road with my career. I plan on being in this business a long time and I would love to do more, if you know what I mean.

I think that we should all be building up to having our own companies—doing our own thing, no matter what that is. I think more women in general need to be running this industry, because women make this industry what it is. There just needs to be more women in everything, more women as agents, more women behind the scenes. I want to work for more companies that are run by women. To be honest, when I am being filmed by a man, in most instances, they’re not even looking at the screen. It’s been the total opposite when a woman shoots me. So what does that tell you right there?
When you look at the performers—and I’m talking about the males—who are in the business for all the wrong reasons, they are not entertaining to watch. They don’t act, they don’t get into character. I say to myself, “Why would anyone want to watch this?” I 100% agree with you. It needs to be put in your hands way more than it already is.

Now, did I get this right as well? You used to watch porn before you got into the business?
Yeah, I used to watch porn on Tumblr a lot, before they got rid of it. Oh, my God, I love lesbian porn.

Has the business lived up to all your expectations?
I guess the answer would be yes. I went into the business not knowing what to expect. Things have been even better than I expected. I have gotten to see a lot of beautiful places, seen some of the lovely houses, and had a lot of amazing sex. Of course, I have seen some very beautiful paychecks. It has been great.
I am a positive person at heart. I believe that for all the downsides the business has, just like any other line of work, it has an equal amount of positive things within it.
Yeah, seriously. You have to be someone who is great at business—not just good—in order to do this job. People just think that you are just opening up your hole to fuck, and it’s so far from the truth. Porn stars, they fuck in a particular way that you really have to learn and master. We have to be our own marketing team by being social media managers. We have to learn to become health-conscious, work out, and eat right. Then, the most forgotten part of the business: we have to learn what clothes to buy in order to be ready for any shoot! There is so much shit like that when it comes to the clothes that you pick and wear.
The thing that I have found the toughest getting into the production side of things is the hair and makeup.
Oh, yeah! You have to literally learn to become a makeup artist and a hair stylist!
I think that if fans saw what a model really does on a shoot day, that video would receive massive hits and views, especially if the model was shooting anal. Getting to see the model do her own makeup, hit the gym the day before, eat a transparent diet as well. I think it would open eyes and entertain. That’s not even getting into meeting your scene partner and then building chemistry. There you go, there is your first film idea you can go ahead and steal from me.
Yeah, I have heard it all from people outside of the business. They say things like, “You should stop being so lazy.” “You should go back to school.” My answer to them, “How much money is your degree making you?” They’re all people who are still working or living with their parents. My attitude is “Come on!”

Every place I look and work for, I see your scene getting a massive amount of attention, and rightfully so. I was very excited to work for Girlfriends Films. That scene was actually the very first time that I had worked for them. It was super fun. Everything from that day just turned out so good. The cameraman they had was just amazing. You have to love any set you go onto and they have snacks for the models. I don’t think that I was nervous at all.

Now, what do you think of a model doing their own makeup? I am an old-school guy and love seeing 50 people on set. But what do I know in today’s world? I am getting old.
Sometimes it’s better when you get to do your own hair and makeup. You have to consider that every makeup artist has their own style. Sometimes, it doesn’t necessarily fit your face, and you may not like what you see. Then again, it is nice to just wake up in the morning, shower, and be half-asleep while getting my hair and makeup done.
I really never thought about that. The bottom line is, you are all actors. The makeup is a part of you getting in the zone. How that happens is so important. I see where you are coming from. That’s why I would be a nervous wreck on set.

You know, the person who first told me to look at your work was Kay Brandt.

She is a woman who does not fuck around on set. She runs a tight ship, as all great directors do. It says so much that she gives you praise. So, I first must ask, do you have any formal training? Or, are you truly just a natural wonder?
Well, I grew up as a theater kid. I starred in six plays. Well, maybe even more than that. I was in the school play every single year. I never had a huge role, was never that person who landed the lead role. I guess you could say that is where I learned how to act.
It shows, and I am not joking. Stage acting of any sort is something that helps an artist gain confidence. It opens your third eye to so many other things. Having a passion like this, especially when you are young, that is something special.
Thank you, I just love acting so much. I have always seen myself doing something in acting. It is a part of who I am. I want to keep going mainstream if I can.
With your look and your natural speaking ability, it will come, trust me. That is just how it works.

I remember the first scene with you that was ever put on my desk. It was with a Japanese company, and after I watched this production, I was like, “Damn, this woman gets it.” Then, I looked you up and saw you were only 21, and I was like, “No fucking way!”

You know, a lot of people don’t know this: that was actually my very first porn scene!

I remember the director saying, “Come on, act like you’ve never done this before.”
You know, you’re all over YouTube. That’s truly because of how well of a speaker you are. Companies will showcase your dialogue, because it just sells the film and is so crisp! There is a scene you have out there, you’re driving to go pick up your car at a dealership. And my family, they are in the automotive business. You really sell that role as woman getting bamboozled at a dealership and that is so fucking cool to see. That’s what makes fantasy real.

So are you a woman who just loves theater? Did you go out and see Hamilton when it first came out?
No, I am not that extensive of a theater person. I mainly did theater in school. I did a little bit of work once I got out of school. I worked for a couple of play houses. It was so much fun. I was in Annie, and Alice in Wonderland, along with a bunch of other plays that I don’t remember the names of.
So I can imagine it was an easy transition to go onto a film set?
Oh, yes it was. There are so many similarities. I can go on and on about all the similarities of a porn set and theater. The thing that takes some getting used to is the amount of people that you see on set. The first time I experienced being on a big set for the first time, I was just amazed at how many people were there. That first time, there were only a couple of people in the scene and the crew was just massive!
I am just so impressed with all that you have done, and you have done it all by the age of 22!

So, I would love to close by talking about Down The Rabbit Hole from Pure Taboo, directed by Kay Brandt. Now that I have gotten to know a bit more about you—this wonderful, sexually confident woman—I would love to know, was this the greatest experience for you, being that you love to be choked and identify as pansexual? I am trying to take my mind back to that place and time. I want to say that we shot that scene at the beginning of this year. I’d been in the business a little over a year when I worked with Kay and Seth.
There was something so wonderful about seeing these two forces of nature who could bring in such energy, and such darkness. It takes a solid performer to work across from Seth Gamble. He is not an easy performer to work with I can imagine, because he is just that damn good!
Yes, he gets very into character. I really love that about him. Seth, he is like a method actor in so many ways. He is just so talented.
There is so much depth that lay within Seth Gamble’s ways. That scene that you both starred within, it deserves so much more publicity than it is getting.
It seriously does. We all worked so hard on that scene. I believe that we were on set for 12 hours, or something like that.
I can only imagine you three on set. I see a bunch of people totally in sync.
Kay is wonderful to work with. That was my first time working with Seth, and I believe that was my second time working for Adult Time. I had just done a girl/girl scene for Girlsway, and that was such an amazing experience. I do think that was my first scene with Kay, because I have shot in that warehouse a lot of times.
I just shot for the first time with Dean Capture in that warehouse! It is fucking massive.
There are so many sets in that warehouse!
The first time I saw that, I said to myself, “I want to live here!”
Yeah, but to get back to Kay Brandt, I think she is just so awesome. We talked about astrology, and all sorts of stuff. She is really cool.
You make me remember something I have been dying to talk to you about, the word “pansexual.” That term is not known as much as it should be in the modern world.
Well, how things occurred for me, someone told me that their definition of being pansexual, and I said to them, “Well, I guess that I’m pansexual.” My friend told me that her definition of being pansexual was that she was attracted to all genders, and that outward appearance might be a plus, but it really doesn’t matter to me. What I care about is energy and who that person is. That is something that really resonated with me. I don’t care what gender somebody is, no matter if they are trans, non-binary, whatever. I am attracted to all of the genders. I am deep down a woman who just really cares about who a person is inside. Being able to get and give good energy is so important. That’s all that really matters to me, because you really don’t get to choose your body, your gender. The only thing that you can choose is who you are as a person and how you treat people. So, that is basically how I came to that conclusion.
That is one of the wisest answers to that question I have ever been given. I think that I am a beautiful person, as are you. No matter how beautiful we are as people, everyone has confidence issues as they grow into different stages in their life.

I had a lot of fun, because I love accents and when you are working with Claudio and Stirling Cooper… nothing could have been better that day. Okay, now you’ve got me trying to figure out my favorite lesbian scene. Oh, it’s definitely my orgy scene. I did a schoolgirl orgy scene that was directed by Mike Quasar for Zero Tolerance, I believe. It’s After School Orgy 4.

Well, in most instances on set, I’m pretty quiet and I usually stick to myself. Mike, he is very funny, sarcastic, and loud on set. I really love his personality. He is great at what he does. He always gets you out of there quick and still manages to get a great scene done. Mike, he is such a real, honest dude who speaks what’s on his mind in the nicest way possible.
