HotMovies is happy to announce that you can now make purchases on the site with cryptocurrency. There are several conveniences and advantages to making your purchase with crypto:
- Paying with cryptocurrency is more secure because it is based on cryptography and decentralized blockchain security.
- It is much cheaper and easier to make international payments with Bitcoin since there is no exchange rate.
- Cryptocurrency transactions are pseudonymous, meaning the transaction are identified by a blockchain address. No Internet Protocol (IP) addresses nor other identifying information are required to conduct the transaction.
Making a purchase on HotMovies.com using your cryptocurrency is easy. When you get to the purchase page, scroll down to the bottom and look for Alternative Discreet Payment Methods. Click on the Cryptocurrency button:
This will take you to a Step 2 of the process: Select your Payment Method. Click on the link at the top of the page that says “Click here to purchase with crypto”
That will take you to a page to select the cryptocurrency you want to use. If you have a Coinbase wallet, you can select to login to your Coinbase account and make a payment, or you can select any of the other cryptocurrencies you see on the page.
Once you make your selection, follow the instructions to finish your transaction.
After the transaction is completed, you will see a message stating that once the transaction is verified, you will receive the items you purchased. This may take up to 10 minutes.
