When you think of porn stars of the 80s, you’re probably thinking of the beginning of the BIG era—big hair, big (fake) breasts, and so forth. You’d be partially right, too. The 1980s were an absolute explosion of implants in the industry, and it only grew (no pun intended) as the decade went on. “What about porn stars with big, natural tits?” you might ask. Well, they were there, and they were hugely popular. Vanessa Del Rio got her start in 1975, but arguably was at her most popular in the 1980s (and she worked until 1999). The same can be said for Seka and Lisa DeLeeuw, who both started in 1977. But unfortunately, our esteemed Ed Mann stole them from dear ole Jeffton when he made his Best Big Tits Of The 1970s list. Christy Canyon
If we’re being honest here, Christy Canyon’s tits are not just the best pair of the 80s, but probably the greatest pair in the history of porn! Christy began filming in 1984, and continued on until 2001. She resides in every adult hall of fame she’s eligible for, and is still maintaining a premium social media account and membership site to this day! And she still looks absolutely unbelievable! For a period in the 90s she signed a contract to star exclusively in Vivid… but before that she shot for a ton of studios. All her scenes are worth watching (if only for her), but some of her more popular classic titles are I Like To Be Watched and Wild Things.
Kay Parker
Kay Parker and her divine rack got started in the adult industry much later than was common in the day (at the young MILFtastic age of 33), back in 1977 with a scene in Sex World. The British-born brunette beauty was often cast in ‘motherly’ roles like step-mother… not all that different than how things tend to work today. She is best known for her work in the highly influential/controversial Taboo series. Other notable works include Sweet Young Foxes, Dracula Sucks, and Hot Blooded.
Little Oral Annie
Yes, with an original name like that, she did have oral skills that should be praised. She won a Best Oral Scene XRCO award back in 1984 for Succulent, if you’d like to see what the fuss is about. But by naming herself like that, it almost detracts from the fact that she was so naturally gifted in the mammary department! Annie’s career spanned just over the decade—going from 1980 to 1991. Taija Rae
Beginning in 1983, Taija Rae starred in nearly 200 adult films before retiring in 1993. The blonde babe boasted bodacious boobies and a pouty face that, when combined with her performing acumen, led Hustler to refer to her as part of “Porn’s Big Four.” She was nominated by AVN for Best Actress in 1988’s Inner Blues. Taija was also notably part of the classic Taboo American Style series. To get a sense of Taija and her talents, some other films to consider are Cecil Howard’s Dangerous Stuff, Babyface 2, and the bizarre Michael Jackson parody, Driller – A Sexual Thriller.
Ebony Ayes
Talk about stacked! One of the first true Black stars of porn, Ebony sported a 36JJ bra size! She entered the industry in 1985 and worked almost all the way through the 90s, retiring in 1997. Ebony starred in well over 100 films during her career and, as you might guess with a chest like hers, many are boob-centric titles. Our own Authentic Lesbian wrote a profile of her back in 2019. One of the things to remember about the industry (who still, overall, needs to do a much better job) is that they were not especially racially sensitive back in the 80s; while several of the films are interesting and worth checking out, they also can fall into problematic territory. But there is no denying Ebony’s twin majesties. Black Chicks In Heat is a wonderful place to see Ebony work her magic. You might also want to try early John Stagliano outing, The Godmother, her work for Napali Video, or her solo scene in Amos & Candy.
Samantha Strong
Samantha Strong got started in porn back in 1985. She took home the AVN Award for Best New Starlet—due in no small part to her (often tanlined) melons. In 1988, the buxom blonde would become a Vivid girl. With a couple hiatuses thrown in, Samantha worked until 1999. Some good movies to watch Samantha in are the exclusive-to-HotMovies Billionaire Girls Club, the Sammy Strong vehicle Only The Strong Survive, and Merry X-Miss.
Keisha
Keisha (who also starred as Keisha Dominguez) started shooting in 1985. The Hall-Of-Famer Latina measured at 42DD up top. And while she didn’t film consistently the entire time, she was doing adult film work all the way until 2008! You can see an example of Keisha’s age-defying beauty as she starred opposite the puffy-nippled Faye Reagan in 2007’s Women Seeking Women Volume 36—more than two decades after she first started filming. With over 375 credits to her name, it’s difficult to pin down where to start. Some personal favorites are Pretty Peaches 3, Soft Warm Rain, wild sci-fi flick Cabaret Sin, and Moving In.
Mona Page
Mona Page is probably the most obscure, least recognizable name on the list. But once you get sight of her big, natural breasts, you will have no argument with her inclusion here. Working for just two years (1982-1984), Mona has made an indelible impression on all who have witnessed her bodily glory. A large portion of her output can be seen in old stag reels like Cool Counter, Hot Broad (where Mona’s billed as Pam Lock). The “French Fox,” Jacqueline Lorians, helped to define the decade of the 80s in adult. Her career coincided with it completely—beginning in 1980 and ending in 1990. For all of her incredible work, the busty Parisian only garnered one award: the 1988 AVN for Supporting Actress in Beauty And The Beast. But that’s not to say that she doesn’t have some killer roles and killer scenes! Classical Romance is a really good place to see some of Jacqueline’s work (and it’s re-mastered in HD). Blue Ice is another intriguing film, and features several scenes with Jacqueline (with an interesting plot about Nazis). Hot Stuff is a good flick directed by cult legend Joe Sarno—and works as a riff off of Indiana Jones and similar pulp adventures (so yes, there’s Nazis there, too).
Erica Boyer
While the name might not pop quite the same as a Christy Canyon or Seka anymore, Hall-of-Fame performer Erica Boyer practically owned the hearts and minds (and loins) of porn fans throughout the 1980s. Erica filmed to a much lesser extent in the 1970s (with only handful of credits from her 1974 debut until the turn of the decade). Erica began by doing only lesbian scenes, and those remain a staple of her work. She did, however, begin filming scenes with men. Some classic Erica Boyer films to consider are Young Girls Do, the XRCO-enshrined Nothing To Hide, HotMovies exclusive Palomino Heat, Tower Of Power, and Evil Angel.
