MissaX is incredible. Started by Missa as a writer and director shooting out of her home in Wisconsin, the studio has risen by the strength of its content to become a HotMovies powerhouse and perpetual award magnet, with several films also being made by heavily decorated director, Ricky Greenwood. What sets MissaX apart? It feels as though the movies almost make the story the primary focus. They are intent on creating a compelling storyline first and foremost—that happens to be a very erotic premise. From there, they get performers who can really act and push them to deliver their best performances. And then they allow the sex to fall from that… and usually the result is a pornographic alchemy that makes for some of the hottest sex you’re liable to see on a screen. Many of the films are just one or two scenes… but that’s more than enough. I adore the studio so much that I asked to do a list of ten of the best MissaX titles.
1. Deja Vu
I have written about this movie so many times that anyone who follows me (does anybody actually follow a porn writer?) is probably sick of hearing about it. But I likes what I likes, and I loves me this movie. Ivy Wolfe (who I am so so so so happy is back shooting with studios) re-lives the same day over and over again. And she must confront her ex, who she still loves (played by Chad White) on that day. She tries her hardest to win him back. On the final, successful try, her showering at his house leads to the sex that makes him realize what he’d lost. It is beyond scorching, and both Ivy and Chad are peerless actors and performers, both.
2. The Portal
While my first two selections are both sci-fi realism plots, those are the exception and not the rule for the studio. They just both happen to be super-sexy and engaging movies. In this, Elena Koshka discovers a portal in the basement of her house that allows her to see a dystopian future for her step-brother, Tyler Nixon. After some sort of devastation from World War 3, Tyler reluctantly agrees to commit a heinous crime with his partner, Kristen Scott. In the present, he’s about to propose to Kristen. So how does Elena think to avert Tyler’s upcoming descent into criminal activities and eventual death? By breaking up Tyler and Kristen… through means of seducing her own step-brother! The sex between Tyler and Elena is some of the hottest I’ve ever watched (and we’re talking decades of porn watching, folks). The film is interesting and well-done… but a porn is only as good as its sex; which makes this one of the best porns of all-time!
3. My Virginity Is A Burden IV
Not as high-concept as the previous two entries, this volume of My Virginity Is A Burden stars Alex Coal as the bratty step-sister to Tyler Nixon. Alex seems very opinionated about sex and sexual acts, and it comes out that she’s never actually had sex herself before. Well who better to welcome her into the world of sexual activity than her handsome bro???
4. Troublemaker
Mona Wales is a hotwife who loves filling her husband in on the details of seducing other men. New to town, Chad White’s wife takes it upon herself to confront Mona for her alarming behavior with other (taken) men. And Chad White is dragged along for said confrontation. Chad comes over another time on his own to apologize for the incident, and Mona takes advantage of the situation to show Chad exactly why his wife had a reason to be suspect and outraged. Steamy beyond comprehension, this movie is sure to get your motor going!
5. Under The Veil
Director Ricky Greenwood is obviously a fan of nunsploitation movies! This epic film is probably the most ambitious to have come out of the MissaX studio. It revolves around a priest and nun (Tommy Pistol and Kenna James, who both earned AVN nominations for their roles, respectively) who are doubting their faith and their commitment to a celibate life. And while the Catholic church is no stranger to controversy, surely things are not as depraved and hypersexual as this flick makes things seem! Where most MissaX movies are one or two scenes, this one packs in an awe-inspiring eight sex scenes to create the definitive religion porno.
6. Daddy #4
Ryan McLane arrives at his fiancee’s house only to find Violet Starr there waiting for him. His fiancee is being quarantined, and Violet, her daughter, is there because they were going to drop the news of the marriage. Violet is hypersexual with Ryan from the get-go and it comes out that every single one of Violet’s three previous stepfathers (Ryan didn’t know he was going to be ‘Daddy #4’) engaged in sexual acts with Violet, leading her to believe that that is what “daddies and daughters” do. Ryan’s a good guy, and does his best to stay faithful and not take advantage of the situation… but when Violet has you in her sights, there’s only so much that one can take!
7. Restraint
We open with India Summer naked, in a stockade, and bound at the feet in the living room of her home. She is modeling for her dominant artist husband. He exits, and in a flex, leaves her there all locked up and vulnerable. India’s step-son Chad White unexpectedly comes to the house and finds her in the compromising position. He suggests that she did it on purpose, knowing he’d find her like this and wanting him to take advantage of the situation!
8. Don’t Say A Word
Brad Newman doesn’t know it, but his wife (played by Vera King) is cheating on him—with his own son! Tyler Nixon doesn’t want it to be a secret anymore… even though he has a girlfriend in Alex Blake. Brad catches wind of this (after sleeping with his wife), and takes revenge by sleeping with Alex! It’s a pretty demented story full of intrigue and betrayal… and all of it is hot!
9. The Cure
This has to be one of the most twisted stories I’ve seen written by Shawn Alff (and directed by Greenwood). Codey Steele wakes up sedated and restrained in a bedroom where Mona Wales and Stirling Cooper are having sex. They notice him rousing, and are excited about it, but it doesn’t stop them from their conjugal time, and Codey is too out of it to complain. What transpires in later scenes is a bonkers tale of a doctor putting together a “family” of outcasts. In addition to a second (sexy and wrong) scene with Mona, the movie also has a killer scene starring Jessie Saint and Natalie Knight playing with Codey! It’s all messed up, and it’s all arousing.
10. Prove It To Me
Ivy Wolfe is convinced that she is unloved because she has little breasts. She is determined to get a boobjob. Stepbrother Zac Wild doesn’t want her to do it, and tries to convince her that he and other men love small, natural breasts. The following day he catches Ivy coming home from a new job as a stripper (in order to pay for the procedure). He says he will pay for the surgery just so she doesn’t have to strip but begs one more time to leave perfection alone. She doesn’t believe that he finds it attractive and says he has to prove it to her with an erection. The sex is so incredible, so sexy, that I swear to god you can see Zac actually fall in love with Ivy during it.
