Meet Stirling Cooper, the man who could well save your marriage.
No, seriously! Cooper is a multi-talented star who counts sex coach as one of his many ventures. In addition to his on-camera performances, his work with couples has helped many of them save their relationships. We were delighted to get a chance to chat with the man himself in this new HotMovies interview. He has some fascinating insights about life in an apparent dream job (one that presents its own unique challenges).
HM: Tell us about the Australian porn industry, where you shot your first scenes.
Stirling Cooper: Australia has a very small industry and I was fortunate to get my first ever scene with Aussie Fellatio Queens. When I was shooting in Australia in 2017, there was really only three to four companies that shot any guy/girl porn and used male talent. The companies that got my career off the ground and gave me some experience to build off of were Aussie Ass and Kim Cums. Basically everyone shoots out of Melbourne and there’s a huge overlap between pornstars and escorts. Most Australian pornstars use their porn shoots as more of an advertisement for them and their brand than as a full time job.
You’re also a sex coach. Tell us a little bit about that!
These days my primarily focus is helping men overcome the biggest problems they face in the bedroom; erectile dysfunction, performance anxiety, premature ejaculation, and not being able to get their woman to orgasm. I combine my years of experience from performing “under pressure” as both a straight male escort and a pornstar and I teach the average guys the tools and tricks that allow me (and other industry pro’s like me) to get the job done. It’s extremely fulfilling work, everyday I get messages from guys thanking me for fixing their sex life. Now they’re able to enjoy sex to the fullest and give their wives/girlfriends/partners a fantastic experience in bed. I’ve literally saved marriages with my teaching and that truly blows me away.
Do you yourself have any particular mentors in your early days in the industry?
Yes, early on in my career I was lucky enough to become good friends with some guys who really helped guide my career and allowed me to have the tremendous success I’ve had today, I wouldn’t be where I am without the mentorship of Kai Taylor (RIP) and Ryan Ryder.
In general, what do you think is the single biggest problem in men who are unhappy with their sex lives?
Not having one in the first place. There’s an ever increasing majority of men today who aren’t able to find a wife, or a girlfriend or even get laid to begin with. Now, for those that are actually in a relationship or are having casual sex, their biggest frustration seems to be their dick not getting hard and cooperating with them. Now most guys think this is Erectile Dysfunction but it’s often more likely to be Performance Anxiety related, these are two very different causes of not getting an erection but they are often mixed up. Reported incidents of erectile dysfunction in men under the age of 30 have skyrocketed since the advent of high definition streaming porn on the internet (think sites like Pornhub, RedTube, XVideos). Right now we have an entire generation of men who can’t get laid and on the rare occasion they do it’s difficult for them to get and maintain an erection due to habitual porn use. It’s a very sad situation.
What’s one of the lesser-known challenges of being a male pornstar?
What advice would you give someone looking to get into the industry?
For a woman – make sure that this is what you really want to do, the internet is forever. Are you doing this on a whim or are you gonna stick this out and make a career of it. The best women in this industry have two things in common 1) they genuinely LOVE sex 2) they take this career seriously and professionally.
For a man – you live and die by your reputation, make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable time with you on set and you’ll get work. Being the guy who can get his dick hard is the bare minimum requirement, but being the guy who everyone enjoys having on set will get you hired consistently. Make everyone’s day go smoothly, be professional, be on time, know your lines, know your camera angles.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Depends where I am really, when I’m back in Miami my day is quite regimented and boring; Wake up, Work for 8 hours (youtube, social media, other business ventures) then I hit the gym around 4pm, have dinner and finish up any remaining work and plan out my work for the next day. When I’m anywhere else in the world it can involve fancy dinners at 5 star restaurants, racing sports cars around mountain roads, flying private jets, popping bottles at the club and exploring castles.
Looking at your Instagram it appears you travel quite often. Tell us about some of your favorite places to visit.
These days I’m quite fond of places like Romania (gorgeous countryside), Czech Republic (beautiful castles), United Arab Emirates (amazing dining experiences), Colombia (fun party scene), Korea (incredible food).
Currently, what are your favorite TV shows, music, movies, books, etc.?
Can’t really say I watch much TV or movies to be honest. But when I do I love a good English gangster film, though. I like reading books on marketing, sales, business, persuasion and human psychology.
