Lacey Bender proclaims herself to be “fun, energetic, and feisty.” This is what I call truth in advertising! She first caught our eye here at HotMovies when she appeared in A Day With a Pornstar Vol. 10 from the fine folks at Brazzers. While that movie was stocked full of some notable porn lumanaries such as Siri and Kayla Kayden, Bender made a vivid impression all her own. Go on a Bender with us now — sorry, couldn’t resist — in our interview with this up-and-coming star.
HM: How did you get into the industry?
Lacey Bender: In 2016, my husband and I decided to try camming as a way to spice things up a bit! We were suffering from the nuances of normal married life and needed a jolt! I had no idea that we would be like moths to a flame!
What’s the story behind your stage name?
Can I openly admit that my stage name came from the porn name generator of “your first female pet, and the street you grew up on.” That’s it! Lacey Bender was born!
What movies, TV shows, books, music, etc. are you loving lately?
I am a sucker for docuseries, and Ryan Reynolds so Welcome to Wrexham has shot to the top of my list. I love the backstories of the fans, and the players alike! I am also such a dork and still watch Big Bang Theory or Groundhog Day on repeat if I just need to shut my mind off for a bit! As far as music goes, I feel like my Pandora (that’s right, I will always choose Pandora over Spotify) is very all over the place. I listen to anything from EDM, country, to Korn, Twerk radio, to the Beatles. Depending on what I’m doing, or my mood I switch it up!
What upcoming projects are you working on?
We just came off of an exceptionally busy summer, so I am just enjoying being home! You will always find me on cam though!
Do you recall the first time you encountered porn?
I vividly remember going to an adult store for the first time when I turned 19! My friends bought me my first DVD and vibrator! I still have that vibrator, as a relic!
Tell us about your scene in the movie A Day With A Pornstar Vol. 10.
That scene was so much fun, but so stressful as well! Jason (aka hubby) and I shot that at home for Brazzers during quarantine. We had no production team, just us and the script! It was such a rewarding scene to shoot!
Who do you look up to in the industry?
I absolutely look up to Shirley Lara, the CEO of Chaturbate. She is an absolute BOSS! As far as performers go, I think I admire the industry as a whole. There is an incredible amount of resilience, ingenuity, and adaptability in this industry!! I love to see people thriving doing something they love!
What advice would you give someone looking to start their career as an adult star?
Treat this like the business it is. Find a really good accountant, be up front with them, and start an LLC. Maybe that is advice for anyone thinking about becoming their own boss!
Do you have a favorite sex toy?
The Domi by far! I am a vibrator girl and the Domi hits the spot, literally!
Is there anything about the industry that you hope to see change in the future?
I hope to see more understanding from people that are not in the industry. Minding one’s own business is not as hard as people make it seem! As long as it involves consenting adults, that should be the most important factor.
What characteristics do you value most in a co-star?
Being open-minded and adaptable! And of course having a good sense of humor! love when the atmosphere is light and we can just enjoy ourselves!
We saw on Twitter that you are a big football fan. What team do you cheer for?
I am a FANATICAL football fan and a diehard Denver Broncos fan! We are from Colorado and have season tickets to the games! I always go on cam early on Sundays, because I say I am not fit for public consumption during the Broncos games! Hubby got me a mug that says “classy until kickoff” and if that doesn’t describe my relationship with football, I’m not sure what does!
Tell us about your workout routine.
I really enjoy walking and running indoors or outdoors! I really take advantage of Chole Ting and her YouTube workouts! They are perfect if you don’t have hours to spend at the gym but still want to get a full workout in!
What does a typical day look like for you?
My alarm goes off at 5:18 a.m. but I am usually awake before then, so I make coffee immediately and hit the ground running! By 8:15 a.m. everyone is out of the house and I usually take that time to workout for about 45 minutes. If I’m going on cam, I jump in the shower and start getting ready and will be on cam from roughly 11:00-1:30 p.m. I usually have some content to shoot or errands to run and I have to get everything done before school pickup! By 4:15 p.m. everyone is home and we have a typical evening! I am always in bed no later than 8:30 p.m.! A girl needs her sleep!
What jobs did you have before getting into the industry?
I have enjoyed a variety of jobs before I started in the industry! I have a degree in Nutrition and Food Science and worked at a Hospital for over a decade!
What has surprised you most about the porn industry?
In my experience, I think I was most surprised about how professional a day on set is. The paperwork, the signing in and out before and after a scene, the entirety of a shoot day.
What do you feel is the most exciting current trend in the porn industry?
I think it is exciting how mainstream sites like Onlyfans are becoming. I believe that normalizing sex and not assciating shame with sex is extrodinarily important. I love seeing people embrace their sexuality!
What is your biggest guilty pleasure? I love going to antique stores! I can just wander around for hours appreciating the absolute randomness of each store! It is my biggest guilty pleasure by far!
