She may describe herself as a “quirky MILF character,” but Sarah Taylor is a stone-cold fox with golden blonde hair and a perfectly sculpted body. HotMovies: What was it like growing up in a Mormon household?
What people may not know is my parents raised me as evangelical Christian. We did the rock band church service, with coffee/donuts at the door, speaking of tongues and Super Bowl tailgating in lieu of service.
But when my parents split, my mom remarried a Mormon man and I was baptized Mormon along side my other siblings. This church was all about reverence, obedience and patriarchy.
In terms of household rules, I’d say they were fairly normal. The biggest challenge was definitely moving to Germany and attending high school with a legal drinking age of 14. My parents couldn’t control me. But I was a good kid. Mormonism is strict, so strict, the normal things I was exploring as a teen only made me look like an abomination.
My shame with how I was in Mormonism didn’t come in till I was an adult returning to the religion. I definitely wore a scarlet letter. Having lost my virginity in high school, to one guy I dated for years, before marrying a Mormon virgin, seemed to have made me feel very unworthy. The Mormon “law of chastity” and its modesty culture did terrible things to my head. Because of my previous sins, I always had this insecurity of feeling not good enough for lifes blessings. My previous life rebelling made me feel like “chewed gum”.
Have you always been sexually expressive and comfortable sharing it with others?
Yes and no. I’ve always been a sexual person. But religious imposed rules became my security blanket after experiencing some unfortunate things. It’s what protected me from facing trauma that I needed to work through. Happy to say, I did the shadow work. There is no way I could do this without that completed.
As a Mormon wife, I happily made homemade porn for my Mormon husband to enjoy. I’ve always loved the idea of someone jerking off to me. But it was at the time an exclusive thing.
After leaving Mormonism, a few years ago, I learned in the deconstruction phase of modesty culture, that I am much more of a sexual person than I realized.
Now I make amazing material for my fans and the exclusivity I have to my body on/off set is now by my own choice. Not by religion or previous trauma.

What was it about the adult industry that made you want to join?
The obvious answer is that I love sex. And the industry is a safe/controlled environment for me to explore that more. Now if that was the only reason, I could easily just dive into the lifestyle of swinging but I love acting. Being in front of a camera and apart of a well put together production is amazing! I know a lot of people could care less about the dialogue or scenarios leading up to penis in vagina, but for me, it’s my favorite part. It’s what makes the sex even more real for me and hopefully to the viewer. My hope is to establish a reputation with the viewers, where they know to watch the clothes on portion of my scenes because they know it’ll make the sex portion even better.
What’s something you learned about yourself since becoming a porn star?
I’ve learned that it’s important to find community or hobbies outside of porn. When I am on set, it feels less like work if I do that. When I show up on set, I want to come in with renewed energy and excitement. Fortunately for me, my hobbies happen to compliment my performance on set. For those who don’t know, I’m a student at a nationally renowned improv school, and I perform with another improv troop every other weekend.
And I recently applied for film school. It’s fun having a passion that aligns with making better material for porn lovers!
How do you feel about being a labeled a MILF?
Well.. I mean, technically I am a real mom. So it’s not really anything untrue. But in terms of the “porn” MILF, it doesn’t bother me. It’s a very lucrative market to be in! I’ll happily stay within that label as long as the fans want me.
What was your first experience on set like? How did you prepare?
My first industry assigned scene was actually a Naughty America VR scene. I had no idea what that even was until I was staring at a camera that resembled Wall-E.
Luckily I didn’t know because it would’ve tripped me up before showing up. There is very little to prepare for that, in regards to being a newbie, but everyone on set was great! I worked with Alex Mac, who portrayed a student. Everything was improv’d and to this day I have yet to see the scene because I don’t have a VR headset.
Prior to that though, I found myself filming my first Orgy EVER as content with Isiah Maxwell, Mona Azar, Donny Sinns and Christie Stevens. That wasn’t for a company, just for our individual sites. It was that experience that made me ask for advice on how to get in professionally. Isiah and Donny gave me great advice on where to go in terms of agents.
Your scene with Sarah Jessie and Isiah Maxwell in Elegant Angel’s White Mommas Vol. 9 is fire! What was it like working with them? How do you build that chemistry with your co-stars?
As I mentioned before, I had worked with Isiah Maxwell previously for content, but when I saw we were working together on set, I was VERY excited. We already had that fun energy established. This was a sweet reunion for me.
Sarah Jessie is also a very talented, hot and overall a wonderful person. She showed up with good energy. That’s really all it’s about for me. As long as we all have good energy, the scene flows.
Is there anything you haven’t done yet that you want to try on camera first?
Definitely a DP! I’ve done anal in my personal life, but it’s not something I do often.. let alone on camera. But I’ve never done a DP. EVER!
If I ever did one though, for the first time, it’s gotta be done with a creative storyline. I love turning first time things into a fantasy driven experience.
How did you end up shooting for Girlfriends Films? What’s it like working with them?
My agent at the time booked me. The first time I shot with Girlfriends Films was great, and it’s only gotten better. Every time I work with a performer like Serene Siren or Summer Vixen, I learn a new trick to add to my own performances. This company has awoken the inner lesbian that was hidden inside me through religious suppression. Bisco, the director is also great! Love his east coast styled feedback. It’s direct and honest.

How do you stay in such great shape?
Besides working out 4-6 days a week, on my free time I enjoy cycling and hiking. As for diets, I don’t have one. Putting restrictions on anything doesn’t work for me. In the past, all that did was cause me to adopt a terrible shame cycle with food. Now I just fill my fridge with healthy stuff and let go of self shame when enjoying a sweet treat or drive thru eat after a long day on set.

What’s one thing all your fans should know about you?
Just because my social media lacks thirst traps doesn’t mean I’m not a sexual person. I’ll never be a thirst trap poster. It’s the natural way of doing things in my opinion.

Definitely Poltergeist. To this day I can’t look at TV static the same way.
