In a world where keywords are king and attention spans are dwindling, Sarah Arabic knows it’s best to put your unique qualities front and center. Thus, she’s foregrounded her exotic background in her stage name and her stunning curves in glam shots. But Arabic is hardly reducible to a few SEO buzzwords, as she shows in the latest HotMovies pornstar interview. Find out how she moved from a tedious desk job to the high-flying world of porn!
HotMovies: How did you first get into performing?
Sarah Arabic: Growing up in a strict Middle Eastern country I always admired women who were able to express their art and sexuality openly. During college I had the opportunity to be alone and teach myself how to have a real orgasm, watching these amazing performers.
After college, I took a corporate finance job in the States, which gave me the opportunity to move to a country where I could explore my kinks and interests. One day I was feeling really good about the way I looked and shared a photo of myself on social media. I was met with overwhelming support and encouragement from the people who followed me. From that positivity, I started sharing more of myself including a few orgasm videos.
It wasn’t long before I started ignoring the boring desk job in favor of sneaking off to take naughty pictures of myself around the office (in the bathroom, break areas, under my desk, etc), almost getting caught a handful of times. I started a fling with a guy at my office who had a kink for using remote sex toys on me while we were working. This sparked my interests in trying more, before I knew it I had a dozen wishlists full of all the toys, lingerie and items I wanted to try.
One of my friends suggested I should start a subscription site that will help me afford all the kinky stuff I wanted to try, so I did. I only expected to save up enough money to buy my first magic-wand, I had no clue that it was going to blow up to the level it is. I think people really enjoyed watching me do the stuff I wanted to do, not just make content for the sake of making content.
The day came when I had to decide what I wanted to do with my life. I wasn’t happy doing the financial stuff, but making porn and sharing my art brought me so much joy. To the point where I would lay in my bed awake at night getting horny just thinking about what I want to do next.
So I did the reasonable thing, threw away my masters degree, quit the finance job, and decided to make this my only focus. I spent months diving through forums and tutorials, asking everyone on the internet how to do certain things with lighting, cameras and audio.
I ended up making friends with this very nice producer who asked me if I could help be a fluffer for an upcoming production he was working on. Without even knowing what that term was at the time, I said yes. This turned out to be one of the best experiences ever. Not only did I cum to the idea of what I was going to do every night before the scene, also multiple nights after the scene.
The whole experience was amazing, everyone on set was super nice to me and very friendly. They checked in with me constantly to make sure I was ok, the exact opposite of what people outside of the industry was telling me it was like.
I felt safe, I felt that I could be myself and from that moment forward I knew that this is exactly what I wanted to do for as long as I can.
What’s your favorite thing about performing for a living?
The Adult Film Industry is the perfect convergence of art and sexuality for me.
I’ve learned so much about my own body and had other talent teach me how to do things that I only dreamt of. I also get to work with very talented crew, who taught me the production side of getting the best shot, lighting, audio, etc.
I have to admit I am kind of annoying on set sometimes, because I am always trying to learn how people do certain things, I also fan girl out a lot…
Your stage name is direct, simple, and effective. Talk a little about choosing it and how you feel about it now?
Let me be honest, I didn’t realize that my name was going to be anything or I would’ve picked something good like “Ms. DickGuzzler 9000!”. Instead I picked my middle name and the fact that I am Arabic. I feel like it’s an accurate representation of me, much like you said, direct and effective.
You were nominated for Fleshbot’s 2023 Best Boobs award. How does a nomination for your breasts make you feel?
What a tremendous honor and milestone for me, especially to be placed on a list with so many amazing talent and creators. Just being recognized by the public for who I am and what I enjoy was a win for me.
What are the pros and cons of having amazing and big breasts?
All pros, no cons… Having amazing tits are the best 10/10 would recommend.
You delivered an amazing performance in a scene with Jules Jordan (Breast Worship 8). What was it like working with Jules on a Jules Jordan Video production?
I’ve admired Jules’ work long before I began in the industry when I lived in Iraq. Getting the opportunity to work with him and his crew felt like I was being called up to the big leagues.
Everything was better than I imagined it to be, and I already thought it as going to be amazing. It truly is a masterclass watching him work through the shot process, managing the scene and performing at the same time.
I still catch myself thinking about the scene and getting really turned on. I learned a lot from Jules and feel grateful that I had the chance to work with him and his crew.
What’s your favorite type of scene to shoot?
I always find something fun and interesting about every production I am invited to join. Whether it be a big budget, scripted scene or gonzo, there is something amazing about being able to share my art.
One thing I’ve been focusing a lot more on is the performers being open and honest about things they enjoy sexually. My upcoming project focuses on me and my friends telling you exactly what we like done to ourselves and the things we want the other person to do to us, for real.
Do you have a favorite kink fetish?
Pin me down, control me and tell me in detail all the dirty things you’re going to do to me. It’s pretty much an instant orgasm for me.
Who is someone you’d love to work with?
That is an incredibly long list, full of amazing talent that I’ve adored for many years before I started and talent I just discovered.
I want to work with sex-positive creators who care as much about the art and the industry as I do. I’ve become less focused on filming just to film, but working with people who share my vision of the industry in a positive light.
What do you like to do to unwind at the end of the day?
Sometimes it’s difficult for me to shut my brain off and not think about sex or what I want to do because it’s so much a part of who I am.
Typically what I like to do is cook a nice meal for myself, usually something Arabic which is my comfort food. Binge watch Death Note or What We Do in the Shadows and just chill. I’ve also got into making my own vibey playlists.
Do you have any upcoming projects you’re looking forward to?
I am finishing up my first full-length directorial debut called Sarah Arabic Unscripted. I want to focus on the kind of art that I enjoy watching, great chemistry, organic conversations, and sex.
The scenes are filmed with us talking honestly and openly about the things we desire and what we want to do to each other… then we do it.
