HotMovies: What is a typical day with Stevie Moon like?
Stevie Moon: I’m a huge introvert/homebody, so, my day starts with taking my dogs Clay, my miniature dachshund, and Potato, my pug, outside with a nice cup of coffee. Next I check my onlyfans and clip sites, get ready for the day and shooting content/taking pictures. The rest of my day usually consists of playing video games and watching TV or snowboarding.
What’s the story behind your stage name? How did you come up with it?
My favorite band is Fleetwood Mac. I always loved Stevie Nicks so when I started out I went by Stevienotnicks because I thought it was funny. I ended up changing it to Stevie Moon to be a bit more professional when I got into porn.
When did you know you wanted to be a sex worker?
I had a friend who was a cam model/pornstar for years with her boyfriend. When I found out she was a cam model I was intrigued and started looking into it. Shortly after I became a cam model myself on and off for 5 years. From that point I started looking into how I could take my career further and found my first agent and got into porn.
How did you get your start in porn?
I was a cam model first for 5 years off and on before I started to get curious on how I could take my career further. So I started asking friends who were in porn how they found their agents. I started doing my own research and found my first agent and the rest is history.
Tell us about your first experience on set.
My first experience on set was Hot MILFs Fuck with Tyler Nixon. It was amazing and the chemistry was great! He was really sweet and walked me through everything step by step, and the directors were also ready nice and attentive.
Pure Taboo is a studio favorite across the board and I think it’s because of how much work they put into their productions, to the point where they feel like mini movies. What was it like preparing for your role in Rock Bottom? What was it like working with Lucky Fate?
Pure Taboo was one of my bucket list companies to work for. I was so extremely excited to work with them on such a fun film. It was nerve racking and I reread the script for days running lines with Lucky Fate daily to be prepared. Luckily, Lucky happens to be my boyfriend. We have been together for almost 2 years, so working together was easy, fun, and the chemistry was obviously amazing ❤️!
Do you prefer performing in gonzo or plot oriented movies?
I definitely prefer plot oriented movies. I love being able to act and take on a completely different character.
Your anal scenes are so explosive! What was your first time having anal sex in real life like?
I love anal now. They are my favorite to film on set and in my personal life. However, the first time having anal sex in real life was painful and I, unfortunately, did not enjoy it at all. It took me until getting into porn to discover that anal sex can be enjoyable.
What’s your favorite part about being a porn star? Do you have a least favorite part?
There are so many things I love about being a pornstar. My favorite part has to be the ability to explore my sexuality and new kinks in a safe and positive place. My least favorite part is the social aspect. I’m a huge introvert and I’m pretty shy so going to industry events and parties is a little intimidating.
What is one thing you’ve learned about yourself since joining the industry?
I have learned so much about myself since getting into porn. I’ve learned what I like and dislike sexually. I’ve learned I’m very open sexually and I’ve also learned I’m resilient and a very strong person.
I noticed that you’re big in the fight for racial equality. In what ways do you think the industry as a whole can level the playing field for minority performers and production companies?
Diversity in scripts. 90% of porn scripts are written for the same 10% of performers. Not every step-daughter has to be a blue eyed white performer. There are so many amazing performers who are overlooked just because they don’t fit into a cookie cutter mold. Unfortunately porn has not progressed much in 30 years and it needs to change.
Are there any stars that influenced you? Anyone you look up to?
Yes! As a tattooed performer. I’ve always looked up to other tattooed performers who were able to have a successful career in porn regardless of their ink. Val Steele, Small Hands, Owen Gray, and Joanna Angel are some of my big influences.
What advice would you give young women who want to become porn stars?
Do your research. Find an agent who wants to help further your brand and help you build. Don’t do anything you’re not ready for or don’t want to do. Think about the impact this could possibly have on your life later on.
