Dorian Del Isla is something of a renaissance man – a ripped, badass, pornstar renaissance man. In this interview he talks about growing up in France, being a para trooper, boxer, and so much more.
HotMovies: How did you get your start performing?
Dorian: After my wedding, we went to Ibiza, Spain, where we chose to start a new life with my wife Cassie. We did some cam show just to try and to play the exhibitionist. we newer in the swinger community and with a huge sexual appetite. In a couple of month, we became 2nd in world ranking on Chaturbate. So maybe 3 months after our cam debut, a French director living in Spain contacted us to say, “do you want to have sex with hot people on camera?”

You’re a muscular, physically fit guy. What do you do for exercise?
I always worked out, I am a former para trooper, and a Thai-boxer, so I still run, go to the gym, do Thai-boxing and do some physical activities… My hobbies are hiking in the mountains, shooting guns, bows, hunting, surfing. I never stop moving!
What’s your favorite thing about being a male performer?
I like my job because I can say, in fact, that I am paid to have sex with beautiful girls and I have lot of free time. It’s not an easy job every time, don’t get me wrong, but I feel free, I meet lot of different people in the industry. You speak with a lot of people with different background and sometimes you are really surprised…I am not into industry parties, awards, etc., but I enjoy being on set and have a drink with porn people sometimes.
I can say: having sex with sexy girls for money and having a lot of free time is amazing, I mean being a performer gives me the chance to not be only defined by my profession.
What’s your least favorite thing about being a male performer?
There is some bad things in the job, for sure, like everywhere. I can give you one bad thing without a second of hesitation:
We are not put under the light as male talent and totally erased to let the female talent be the star, okay, but lot of productions and directors forget some clients categories, women, bi-sexual men and gay men watching straight porn. It’s why we do our own business on our platforms…I don’t understand why lot of companies are still keeping the male talent in the shadows… the bigger ones understood the importance of the male talent!!!
Your Twitter bio says “French performer in LA.” Did you grow up in France? What was it like coming to LA?
I am French, I grew up in France, and I served in the French Air Force as a commando-paratrooper. I am French but I can say, my second country is the USA, the country I got in my heart is the USA and the country I see myself aging in is the USA!
I do not deny my culture and my country of birth, I just share the two cultures, basically, I am a French man in LA… I came here years ago, and I was fascinated by the LA/California vibes. This city is special, and all the Hollywood movie’s fans will understand me: every street, every mountain, beach, building, etc., are movie pictures, when you live in LA, your “coolness level” is higher than ever, and people around you feel the same. Guys, come to visit California and tell me!

How is it coordinating a DP scene with your male scene partner? How much is the director involved in that process and how much is you Danny working together to figure it out?
If you have to do a DP scene or even a double-penetration. in. a private situation, you need to get along with the other male. If one of the guy just want to “use his dick” and do not think about girl pleasure and about the other male confort, it will be a disastre…you need to think about a game, you are with anther guy, fucking a girl and pushing her to a really special orgasm, it’s a team work to make the girl dick-drunk! as a team, you need to trust the other guy when you change position when you accelerate the rythme, etc…I did it a lot, in my private life and for my job… With Danny, it’s easy, he know how to do, he want to do a great scene, he want to work with the other male talent for this scene and for this girl, he is a nice guy, really funny and really into the scene when it start. The director can just ask us to do that position or another, what he want, we will do it easy and may say no because we know our job and what is possible or not. For Hookup Hotshot it was a real pleasure because, the technical staff are friends, so we know each other, Chloe is a beautiful girl and an amazing performer, and Danny is like a porn-buddy, all the ingredient were there!
You’ve performed scenes with countless women. Are there any performers you see and think, “I’d love to do a scene with her?”
Yes, I always think, “why haven’t I been booked for a scene with that girl?”
But before telling you two or three names, I want to be honest, if I’ve got a crush for a girl and nothing happens for a long time, I am no longer interested…I pass!
I was first really interested and fascinated by Adriana Chechik for a loooong time, and I am still really interested but she came back in the industry couple month ago. Fingers crossed!

What do you like to do to unwind at the end of the day?
When. the job is done, I like to go back home, have a drink with my wife or with friends around the pool enjoying the sun. But most of the time, before that, I like to go boxing or running. That’s my meditation when I am alone, I need that, I need this moment, I need to think, I need to have 2 hours focused on my thoughts about my life, my project, my future.
I always need to question myself, “And what about tomorrow?”
