HotMovies: Take us through a day in the life Miss Raquel. What have you been up to lately?
Miss Raquel: A day in my life starts really early in the morning around 6 o’clock. I wake up, I walk my dogs, then I get ready to go to the gym and train for about an hour and a half before I come back to take a shower, eat breakfast, do my hair and make up, and set up for my day and whatever’s in my schedule. It might be a shoot, it might be travel or it might be solos or a collaboration in between times. I check my phone and talk to my fans from only fans and that’s what a regular normal day would look like for me.
You put a lot of effort into establishing your brand and creating your own content. What brought that about? What are some of the differences between working for yourself and working with major studios?
Thank you for noticing the effort that I put into creating my own brand. It has been trial and error for me as I have been adjusting to things that more align with my personality, my creativity, and my interest. The difference between owning my own content versus working for a company is that when I work on my own production, I have my own timeframe. Working with a company they have a more structured timeframe and a theme that they want to create for the day. Regardless I always put my own personality and creativity in everything that I do.
How has the industry evolved since you first started in 2008? What changes do you think still need to be made?
Wow, that is a very good question. Yes it has evolved a lot from when I started it, but I think that’s life in general is all about changes and renewing yourself. I like that because if everything stayed the same it would become boring and pointless, especially when you are a content creator. You need to always be changing and evolving and adapting to what works now.
What is your favorite fetish?
I actually have several fetishes that I like. Light BDSM is definitely one, feet fetish is another. I also love smothering, spanking and peeing.

No, it didn’t even feel like a transition. I think the directors started casting me for those roles and I fit perfectly physically and mentally and it looked so great that I didn’t even notice the change.

It was such an amazing experience working with Alex. It was completely different than anything else that I filmed, which I loved because it had more passion and more dialogue. It felt like an HBO sexual diary I would for sure love to do again with B. Skow and Alex. She’s amazing amazing talent!
Do you have any advice for young women looking to become porn stars today?
My only advice for the new women that are looking to become porn stars is be consistent and be professional in everything that you do.
What’s next for Miss Raquel? What goals do you have for this year?
My goal for this year is to continue working on my own production company. I set a goal for myself that I will retire from filming in front of the camera in about four years max. Not sure if I would be directing during that time but I love photography and film. In the meantime, just stacking up on content, giving all my fans amazing videos and memories.
Do you have any hobbies your fans might be shocked by?
To be honest with you I love karaoke, I love playing dominoes, and whenever I’m bored my favorite video game is Tetris. Yes, I said it. I’m old school and I love Tetris!
If you weren’t a porn star what would you be doing?
I’ve always loved art, acting, and singing. They’ve always been passions of mine so if I wasn’t a porn star, I would probably be singing or acting, but definitely something as an artist. I think I was born with that creative talent.
