Just when you think you’ve heard it all, you discover something new. During an interview with star Jupiter Jetson several years ago, I heard the slang term “spitroast” for the first time. Sheepishly, I asked for a definition. Jetson explained: “It’s an all-gender inclusive activity where it is one individual receiving from both ends two other individuals’ apparatus, if you know what I mean. So spitroasting. Essentially, you know, in the back and the front and have some fun. Been also popularly known as the Eiffel Tower.” Urban Dictionary offers its own creative, vivid account of the term: “When two men penetrate a woman one orally one anally/vaginally as if she were a suckling pig. At times a third man can be basting her.” (I did not have “suckling pig” on my bingo card of phrases to appear in porn reviews in 2025.)
Now that we’ve cleared up the definition, it’s time to watch some of it in action. Devil’s Film has obligingly provided Husband-Wife Strap Spitroasts, which brings its own twist to this threesome theme thanks to incorporation of a strap-on dildo. This liberates the spitroast concept from its usual M/M/F configuration in eye-opening ways. In many of the sequences, the dildo represents something well beyond the mere object itself. It’s a symbolic incarnation of the characters’ embrace of a more daring sex life. In scene one, for example, Adira Allure is completely bored by the hum-drum routines she’s settled into with husband Danny Mountain. Ever the attentive partner, Danny decides to bring home his boss’s wife (Summer Vixen), with whom Adira had a flirtatious exchange at a recent company event. She produces a strap-on dildo and proposes and spitroast hookup. For Adira, it’s the perfect cure for her sexual doldrums. (Danny seems to be loving it, too, as evidenced by his amusing, hentai-esque O face during the scene, complete with tongue lolling theatrically out of his mouth.)
In scene two, this saucy sexual act becomes the way for a couple (Seth Gamble and Gal Ritchie) to bond with the newest neighborhood hottie (Charlie Forde). “We don’t even really know her, and you want to invite her for the old double penetration,” Seth protests, though he eventually folds (of course). In scene three, we join the action as Abby Rose admires the strap-on she’s just clipped into place over her otherwise naked bod. It’s going to be her ultimate pleasure tool in repaying fuck buddy Nicole Saphir for the orgasms she furnished in a recent girl-on-girl session. Boyfriend GI Joey listens admiringly to the plan (interestingly, he makes sure Abby knows that the strap-on is just for Nicole, not him), eager to play his own role in this spitroast spectacular. “Holy fuck, I really needed that!” Nicole says at scene’s end, clearly grateful for the adventure she’s joined in on. In the movie’s final scene, the spitroast is a way for Cherry Kiss to get over the pain of a recent infidelity. When she visits friend Lolly Dames to commiserate, Lolly’s husband (Will Pounder) bluntly notes, “What you need is a good spitroast.” Cherry, like me, needs a definition for the term, so Will and Lolly go one better: they give her the experience of one. There’s a particularly memorable passage when Cherry finds Will’s dick buried in her booty while Lolly penetrates her vag with the strap-on.
Baskin’s bottom line
There’s something intensely transgressive about the very expression “spitroast.” It evokes the image of a slaughtered creature being made into a spectacle as hungry revelers prepare to dine upon it. Accordingly, the proposal of the sex act is accompanied by shock and scandal in each of this movie’s four scenes. The audience’s reaction is best represented by the startled expression flashed by Adira Allure in scene one when Summer Vixen first produces the strap-on. Throwing her mouth open as wide as someone sitting in a dentists’ chair, Adira is part shocked and part thrilled. In some contexts, the spitroast theme can represent a jaded, cynical expression of sexual domination by two men. Happily, in Husband-Wife Strap Spitroasts, it is reinvented as a joyous mode of sexual adventure and expression that isn’t limited to a M/M/F configuration.
